Modular Acceleration Programme (MAP)

Not ready to commit to studying for a full degree?
Looking to upskill or retrain in a particular area?
Want to dip your toe back into education?

Telford College is delighted to offering the Modular Acceleration Programme (MAP) from September 2024.

Higher level qualifications are made up of credits and typically a three year degree consists of 360 credits. The fully funded MAP programme gives you the opportunity to undertake two 15 credit modules in Health, Business or Digital Technologies and you will pay no tuition fees*.  You can use these modules to develop practical skills to enhance your employability and  then use the credits to provide you with a pathway onto our full HTQ’s in 2025 – if you enjoy them! HTQs are practical and skills-based courses developed in collaboration with employers, they include level 4 Higher National Certificates (HNC) and level 5 Higher National Diplomas (HND).

The great thing about this opportunity is the flexible, bite-sized learning it offers. Tailor your education to fit your life, with face-to-face study and classes taking place in the evenings.

Places are limited and we expect the programmes to fill quickly.

*FREE Modules are government funded. You will not pay tuition fees or be eligible for fee loans, but your student loan entitlement will be reduced by the modern equivalent of the amount of the tuition fee or actual funding (whichever is higher) to reflect government-funded study. As an example, if you have not already gained a degree and want to complete a 3 year degree, this will not affect your funding. However, your overall funding would be reduced for a fourth year of study. If you have completed a 3 year degree, you should still have 1 year of funding available (if you have not already used this allocation on another course).
