Our aim is to make your transition and introduction to Telford College life as smooth as possible.

This is your college – and we want you to take full advantage of the friendly and supportive environment we have created, to enable you to learn, study and achieve.

You’ll soon realise just how far you can go here at Telford College, and discover that our fantastic team will go the extra mile to support you every step of the way.

No question is too big, or too small – if there’s something you’re uncertain about, or want to double-check, please just ask.

And if there’s something you feel we can do differently, or better, please do share your ideas and suggestions through our Student Voice process.

You are about to start an important journey into either employment or higher education. What you do and achieve with us here at Telford College will influence the rest of your life, so please do make the most of your time.

Our campus is very diverse: It’s home to our A level centre as well as a wide range of vocational students, adult learners and apprentices.

This creates a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new ideas, and discover exactly what you want to do with your future.

Sometimes, what students really need most of all is support with their confidence, self-esteem, or a greater focus on how best to match their true skills, creativity, or technical abilities. We recognise this, and are here to help.

Our team are constantly looking at innovative ways to engage and inspire you, so if you have any questions at all regarding your courses, please talk to your course tutor or learner manager.

Telford College has taken the challenges of the pandemic very seriously, and we continue to ensure that student safety and achievement is paramount.

I look forward to meeting you soon. If you see me around the college, come and say hello, and don’t be afraid to suggest anything you feel we can do to improve your college experience.
