About the course

This course covers the theory and practical skills required to be able to record a 12 lead ECG on an adult patient and is suitable for Health Care Assistant working within a healthcare environment who will undertake this skill as part of their role.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for Health Care Assistant who will be performing ECG recordings as part of their clinical role. The learner will need to be supported in their workplace to gain experience by a practitioner who is proficient in the skill and who will sign to confirm that the learner has gained competence in practice.

This session will be 9.30am – 1pm and held in the Health and Social Care Academy, Wellington Campus.
