The Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Computing is an internationally recognised qualification and is validated, administered and verified by BTEC/Edexcel. This HNC is equivalent to the first year of an honours degree programme at university. This course will equip you with the skills, knowledge and understanding you need for success in current and future employment in the IT industry.
You can progress onto the HND programme and university, or go on to develop a career.

Careers and progression
You can progress onto a HND in Computing. Once completed, you can progress to university to top up.
Careers: Network administrator, programmer, database administrator
Entry requirements
Preferably Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in IT. However, other relevant qualifications and experience will be considered.
GCSE Maths & English required (or equivalent)
