About the course

Are you interested in how professional athletes can maximise their potential? How the human body responds to exercise? And how psychological factors influence sport and exercise performance? If so, then this is the course for you.

Our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science is ideal preparation for a career in fitness, training, rehabilitation, physiotherapy or sports psychology.

You will develop your knowledge in a wide variety of topics such as human anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and research methods. You will develop skills in coaching, fitness training and testing, assessing sports injury, using technology in sport, and sports massage. And you will develop professional behaviours such as presenting research, communicating with teams, and consulting with clients.

You will also plan and deliver sports and exercise coaching sessions for individual and group sessions, utilising our industry standard performance analysis equipment, software and sports and exercise facilities.
