Work for Us: Job Vacancies
Welcome to Telford College
Telford College is the largest further education centre in Shropshire and is recognised as a major training hub for employers across the region.
The college’s vision is to become an ‘ethical skills eco-system’ for the Marches and West Midlands, working in close partnership with stakeholders, partners, and local businesses, offering a broad range of courses.
Telford College is going through an exciting time, having had a full inspection in February 2022 recognised as ‘Good’ Education provider by Ofsted; and Outstanding Financial Health, to move forward in a strong position for growth.
We recognise and celebrate each other’s collective strengths and collaborate to maximise opportunities. The spirit of partnerships with shared ethics and values is key to our vision and our strategic plan prioritising contemporary reaching and learning, expanding learning opportunities, working in harmony with partners, investing in green activities and enhancing the local economy.
We seek to attract and retain staff of the highest calibre who are proud of our achievements and wish to be an integral part of our ongoing and future successes.
At Telford College, we put students first and they are the centre of everything we do. We are fully inclusive of all, and we are proud of the diversity of our student community. We believe in supporting and celebrating all students, from every social background, every race, and every learning background.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Staff are encouraged to promote student’s welfare at all times and through all teaching, learning and assessment activities, staff adopt a student-centred approach. To facilitate this, it is our policy to have an enhanced disclosure check for all posts. As an organisation using the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) to assess applicants’ suitability for positions of trust, the College complies with the DBS Code of Practice and undertakes to treat all applicants for positions fairly.
