School Liaison
We have a dedicated school liaison team which provides helpful, friendly and unbiased information, guidance and advice to schools and young people across the region.
We work closely with schools, training providers and careers advisors to provide young people with in-depth knowledge to support them with their next step in education – giving them chance to find out more about the facilities we offer.
Our aim is to raise the aspirations of young people and open their eyes to some of the learning and career opportunities which are right on their doorstep.
Our school liaison team would be delighted to visit your school or community group to explain all about Telford College’s full-time, part-time and apprenticeship courses.
We can do this in a range of different ways:
- Speaking at school assemblies
- Organising drop-in sessions
- Linking up with your open evenings
- Arranging campus or departmental tours
- Arranging bespoke private tours
- Hosting school group tours
- Staging community outreach in libraries, markets, community centres and other local venues
- Offering one-to-one advice - either in person, over the phone or on email and social media
- Working with local schools, companies, careers advisors and community venues on tailored presentations or fact-finding events
We are here to answer any queries on our different academic routes, from A levels and apprenticeships to vocational courses and T levels.
We can also provide advice and support with everything from the application process and financial queries to planning public transport routes into college, or exploring different entry requirements and pathways.
In short, we are here to answer all of your questions . . . however big or small.
