Clinical Observations and Sepsis Awareness for HCSWs

About the course

This session will teach you how to correctly take a person’s physiological vital signs (including manual blood pressure recording) and will contain theory and simulated practice within a clinical skills learning environment. Theory content will include related physiology, risk factors and recognition of signs and symptoms including early management aligned to national guidance.

Simulated practice will be facilitated by a Clinical Educator promoting a safe learning environment. Following the session learners will be given a Certificate of Attendance.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for all Health and Social Care Practitioners who will be recording clinical observations as part of their role.
