The Introduction to Basic Electronics course is suitable for anyone who has never soldered or worked with electronic devices before. Applicants will learn about the basic techniques, tools and knowledge required to accurately solder, desolder and inspect PCBs.

An Introduction to Machining Metal

The introduction to the basic machining of metal course is suitable for anyone who is a novice machinist. Applicants will learn the basic techniques, settings and knowledge required to produce basic machined items. Applicants may then wish to progress onto a level 1 formal qualification.

Introduction to Welding – Part time

This programme is designed for those that are novice welders, or have never welded before and provides the opportunity to gain the knowledge and techniques required to create a satisfactory weld using the MIG process. Running from 4th June 2024, this programme runs for 5 consecutive Tuesday evenings between 18:00 and 21:00.
