This one-year course prepares you for a career in the beauty therapy industry. You will build your knowledge, skills, and experience providing treatments to clients, and study the everyday aspects of running a beauty business. Your skills will be developed in a real-life salon environment at The Retreat, by completing practical assessments on members of the public. You will also be expected to complete written assignments and online exams. You will need to purchase a uniform and a kit which will be used for both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications. This course includes treatments in skin care, manicures, pedicures, waxing, makeup, and a variety of eye treatments (tinting, shaping false lashes). You will also study aspects of anatomy and physiology, health and safety, reception skills and personal development. Although work experience is not essential on the Fast track course, it is highly recommended to help you gain valuable insight into the Beauty industry.
