Employer hubs

Telford College’s range of employer hubs build on our already close working relationships with local businesses – giving you a greater chance than ever to help shape our curriculum in a way which meets your needs.

They include:

Engineering hub

Providing an opportunity for engineering businesses to feed directly into the college’s curriculum planning, and share best practice. Among the big-name Shropshire employers involved are GKN, Muller, Schneider Electric, Avara Foods, Protolabs, UL (Wintech), and Keysight Technologies.

NHS hub

Discussing ways of promoting the varied career opportunities available within the NHS across the region. NHS trusts already involved include Shrewsbury and Telford, Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt near Oswestry, Royal Wolverhampton, and the Midlands Partnership Foundation in Stafford.

Maths, digital education and enterprise hub

This is pivotal to Telford College’s exciting new investment in the town centre, as part of the ‘Station Quarter’ regeneration. The aim is to equip people for careers in sectors such as cybersecurity, AI and robotics, virtual and augmented reality, cloud computing, wireless technologies, 5G innovation, and a whole lot more.
