Sport Facilities Booking Agreement

As the named user/organisation I agree that I have read and understood the college's safeguarding policy. College policies can be viewed by clicking here.

As the named user/organisation I agree that I have read and understood the college's health and safety statement and that I have conducted risk assessment prior to any booking. College policies can be viewed by clicking here.

As the named user/organisation I agree that I have read and understood the college's schedule 1 terms and conditions of hire.

1. The named user shall not be a person under 18 years of age.


2. The college shall under no circumstances accept responsibility or liability for any damage to, or loss of any property or articles or things whatsoever placed or left upon college premises, including car parks, or any part thereof by the user or any person using College premises arising from this agreement.


3. The named user agrees to accept full responsibility for and hereby indemnifies the college against all costs, claims and liabilities in respect of personal injury including death to any person present during or in connection with the uses other than in circumstances arising from the negligence of any employee of the college.


4. The college retains the right to declare a pitch unfit for play at any time and the decision of the college is final. Without prejudice, the cancellation of a booking, will be left to the college’s discretion. If the college declares the pitch unfit a credit or refund will be implemented.


5. The college shall be entitled to close the area at any time and refuse entry to it to the user or any person authorised by them in the event that the area is, in the opinion of the college, unfit for the use and occupation or is in need of works or repair and maintenance. Credits/refunds will be implemented as in (4).


6. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking shelters and not allowed in any other areas of the college.


7. All rubbish from players should be put into the bins provided. It is the responsibility of the named user to ensure that each changing room is left tidy.


8. The college shall not be liable for any loss suffered or expense incurred by any person arising from the cancellation of any use for any reason whatsoever.


9. The Sports Academy staff, or their representative, shall at all times be responsible for overseeing the good conduct of persons whilst on the college premises outside normal college hours and shall within their sole discretion be entitled to require any person or persons to leave the college premises for any conduct which in their opinion is or is likely to interfere with any person
   
   or persons enjoyment or use of college premises or facilities.


10. The named user agrees to abide by the booking organisations own safeguarding policy (if approved by the college), and the college’s safeguarding policy. And also, the terms of the code of conduct and the college's equality and diversity policy and in the event of a breach of any of the terms of those documents, the college reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately.


11. Premises must be vacated strictly by the end of the agreed period of hire. A changing time of ten minutes beyond the end period of hire will be permitted.


12. The college retains the right to terminate any contract any time.


13. Any group who wishes to cancel a session must do so at least 5 days before the date of their booking (unless agreed with sports management).
