- Our Facilities
Our ultra-modern campus is a lively and modern place to be – we’ve invested millions of pounds on innovative, university-standard learning resources, including:
Sixth Form Centre
We’re the largest A level centre in the borough, offering more than 20 study options plus an exciting range of field trips, city tours and ‘masterclasses’ from guest lecturers. New courses recently added to the curriculum include theatre studies and politics, and facilities will grow significantly in 2026 when we move to Station Quarter in Telford town centre.
Virtual and Augmented Reality Suite
Taking technology-led learning to the next level with cutting-edge simulators, interactive mirrors, smart glasses, a hydroscopic 3D presentation screen, and VR cave which can transport you into any learning or working environment.
Automotive Centre
We have invested £3.5 million in a cutting-edge centre with three specialist workshops where students gain hands-on experience in an environment which mirrors the workplace, aided by strong links with local dealerships and garages.
Construction Centre
In this £2.5 million centre you’ll learn trades such as painting and decorating, plastering, bricklaying, tiling, plumbing, electrical installation and carpentry. We’ve also built an outdoor groundworks and civil engineering training area, in partnership with award-winning civil engineering company McPhillips.
Discovery Centre
When it comes to learning about engineering, you’ll find everything you need in this £3 million centre including a Computer Aided Design (CAD) suite, plus welding bays, milling stations, robotics and computer numerical control machines.
Creative Hub
Our art, design and media students thrive in this £2.5 million facility with high-specification Apple Macs, studios, media suites, print and dark rooms, and gallery space. Many local employers commission our students to work on real-life projects.
The Retreat
This is our on-site hair and beauty salon, which not only serves as a specialist training facility, but also opens to the public. Level three students conduct treatments under the watchful eye of tutors.
The Orange Tree
This is our on-site restaurant and kitchen, which not only serves as a specialist training facility, but also opens to the public.
Music Centre
Our music courses are based within our specialist centre at the Haybridge campus. The centre is equipped with industry standard workshops/studios and equipment, alongside teaching rooms.
Sports Facilities
Telford College has some of the best sports facilities in the area. We have a double sized sports hall, an indoor 3G football pitch, and an outdoor 3G all-weather pitch. We also have a professional studio, with a mirrored wall, ballet bar and sound system, plus a well-stocked gym.
Addenbrooke House
Our new sixth form centre will welcome its first students in September 2026. The self-contained setting, conveniently located close to public transport services, will have state-of-the-art science labs for physics, biology and chemistry, a drama studio, arts studio, bespoke library for learners, and much more.
Health and Early Years
Care, compassion and commitment are the core values of our health and social care courses, which prepare you for a wide range of careers from care assistants and health visitors to midwives, nurses, therapists and nutritionists.
