She was joined by Relationship Director James Chivers for the visit, where she met principal Graham Guest, deputy principal Janet Stephens, and finance director Laura Arscott.
Janet said: “Nicki was keen to talk to some Midlands-based clients about their latest project work, so this was a great opportunity to show them round our campus.
“Telford College has been on a major journey, supported by Barclays, since the merger between TCAT and New College Telford.
“We have a really good working relationship which has helped us to achieve outstanding financial health.”
Nicki leads a team of relationship directors tasked with providing lending and banking support to the public sector.
She and James received an update on the college’s current financial position – including upcoming plans for the new Station Quarter development in Telford town centre.
They were also updated on the new Strategic Development Fund project for the Marches, being led by Telford College, to boost skills in the health and care sector.
The visitors were then taken on a tour of the Haybridge campus with a particular focus on facilities in the engineering, business and digital curriculum areas which are helping young people to achieve work-ready skills.
