Please refer to Telford College invigilator handbook 2023-24 throughout the training and JCQ Instructions for Conducting Examinations (ICE) which instructs how the College must deliver timetabled written and on-screen examinations.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this training session, you will have the skills to:

• summarise the role of an invigilator
• give examples of the kind of tasks you may be required to perform, including managing access arrangements as part of invigilation
• deal with unexpected circumstances that may arise during the exam
• ask for more help/training where needed
• comply with JCQ ICE regulations which inform how examinations must be run
