Explore a broad range of poetry, prose and drama from the 14th to the 21st century in this exciting and comprehensive study of literature.

Through class work, reading and independent research you will examine the ways in which writers such as Shakespeare, Bram Stoker, Agela Carter, Chaucer, Ibsen, Carol Ann Duffy, Khaled Hosseini and Tennessee Williams construct narratives and create characters. The course contains regular assignments and assessments.

Progressing to: English literature degree courses, or jobs in events management, research, tourism, marketing, teaching

Exams and Coursework
Trips will include visits to local and regional theatres to watch a range of performances.
