Are you interested in how professional athletes can maximise their potential? How the human body responds to exercise? And how psychological factors influence sport and exercise performance? If so, then this is the course for you. It is ideal preparation for a career in fitness, training, rehabilitation, physiotherapy or sports psychology. You will develop your knowledge in human anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and much more.

Employment as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Sports Scientist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Sports Massage Therapist, Performance Analyst/Nutritionist, Physiotherapist, Sports Psychologist and many more.
4 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above including English or Maths and ideally science (combined or biology) or level 2 sport qualification.
This course is assessed by two exams each year of study, as well as coursework comprising of presentations, assignments, worksheets, practical assessments, teamwork sessions and through leading sports/exercise activities.
