This short classroom based programme will give you the skills and qualifications to obtain your class 2, category C HGV licence and succeed in the sector.

Though the EFSA version of this programme you will learn:


HGV – class 2, category C Carrying and Delivering Goods by road

Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service
Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing
Level 2 Certificate in Lean Management
Level 1 Etended Certificate in Personal Devolopment for Employability


There are no formal certificates available with WMCA version.
This programme will give you the skills and qualifications to enter the industry as a HGV driver, alongside giving you a guaranteed interview with an employer or agency in your area.
For the courses above, the criteria is:

Must be aged 19+ as of 13/08/26
Must not be studying any other course
Must hold a full UK driving licence, have been driving on that licence for the last 12 months, and have no more than 6 points or the following offences: DR, DD, TT
Must have at least Entry Level 3 in English

The WMCA version of this course lasts 2 weeks and 1 day.

The EFSA version of this course lasts 3 weeks.
