Be prepared to respond when it matters most. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness (RQF) is designed for people working or volunteering in schools and education settings. Develop the knowledge and confidence to recognise allergies, anaphylaxis and asthma, respond appropriately in an emergency, and support the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
During this short, focused course, you will explore allergy management within education settings, common allergens and allergic reactions, anaphylaxis and asthma, emergency medication, and appropriate first-aid responses. You will also consider the impact allergies can have on a child’s wellbeing and understand how serious incidents and near misses should be reported and recorded.
