Apprenticeships

Our apprenticeships help you develop a skilled, confident workforce through high-quality training and hands-on learning. We support your staff at every stage of their journey, providing clear guidance, dedicated support, and structured learning that fits around the workplace. The result is confident, capable employees with the skills to succeed and progress.

Services

We offer a comprehensive range of apprenticeship services designed to support employers and learners at every stage of the journey. From initial workforce planning and selecting the right apprenticeship standards, to sourcing talented candidates and delivering high-quality training, we provide end-to-end guidance. Our team also supports employers with funding advice, compliance, onboarding, and ongoing progress reviews to ensure apprentices achieve their full potential. With a focus on quality, transparency, and long-term results, our services make apprenticeship delivery simple, effective, and aligned to your organisational goals.

Funding

There are helpful government funding options available to make apprenticeships affordable for your business. If your organisation pays the apprenticeship levy, you can use your levy funds to cover training and assessment costs, with an additional government top‑up added to your account. Employers with unused levy funds can also choose to support others through levy transfers.

If you don’t pay the levy, the government typically contributes most of the training and assessment costs, so your contribution is reduced. In many cases, this makes apprenticeships a cost‑effective way to develop your workforce and invest in skills that directly benefit your business.

There are also additional incentives designed to support employers, especially those taking on younger apprentices or individuals with additional needs, helping you cover some of the extra costs associated with recruitment and development. apprenticeships.gov.uk+1
