Telford College’s new girls’ football team claimed their first victory of the season with a 3-1 victory over local rivals Shrewsbury Town.

Students get chance to wear Wolverhampton Wanderers colours for competitive fixtures as part of a ‘football and education’ collaboration between Telford College and the Championship club.

The team hit back from going a goal down to claim victory against Shrewsbury Town, courtesy of two goals from Liv Seweryn and a strike from Honey Humphries.
