Businesses are being invited to discover how apprenticeships can help strengthen their people function, develop future leaders and address workforce skills needs during a free online webinar hosted by Telford College.
The one-hour session, from 2.30pm on November 4, is aimed at employers, managers and business leaders looking to upskill existing staff, improve succession planning or bring new talent into their organisation.
The college’s Business Solutions team will explain how investing in HR apprentices can help organisations build internal capability, support business growth and provide a cost-effective approach to workforce development.
Attendees will learn more about apprenticeship funding, employer incentives and the HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship programme. The webinar will also explore the benefits of CIPD-accredited qualifications and the progression routes available within HR careers.
Employer relationship manager Sophie Cooper said: “People are at the heart of every successful organisation, and developing the next generation of HR professionals can deliver long-term benefits for businesses of all sizes.
“This webinar will give employers a clear understanding of how apprenticeships can support workforce planning, improve organisational capability and help create a sustainable talent pipeline for the future.
“You’ll learn about recruitment and selection, employment law and compliance, employee lifecycle processes, HR information systems, learning and development support, equality, diversity and inclusion, professional communication, and data handling and confidentiality.”
The online event will also provide an opportunity for delegates to meet the apprenticeship team, ask questions and explore how an HR apprentice could add value to their organisation.
