Clinical Skills Centre

Our Clinical Skills Centre trains students for a wide range of careers in health and social care, and has been described by the NHS as an ‘absolutely fantastic’ facility.

It allows students to experience a realistic clinical environment with two ‘skills rooms’ – a four-bed hospital ward, and a two-bed maternity environment.

Clinical Skills Centre at Telford College

Interactive manikins cover all age ranges, and the centre is equipped with cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality equipment. The equipment replicates exactly what healthcare workers of the future will find in the clinical environment.

And that means you will be fully prepared for the workplace at the end of your studies. The centre is used by all of Telford College’s health students.

This hands-on experience helps to build confidence and competence before entering work placements, or a wide range of full-time employment opportunities in the health and social care sector.
