Our Clinical Skills Centre trains students for a wide range of careers in health and social care, and has been described by the NHS as an ‘absolutely fantastic’ facility. Â
It allows students to experience a realistic clinical environment with two ‘skills rooms’ – a four-bed hospital ward, and a two-bed maternity environment.   Â
Interactive manikins cover all age ranges, and the centre is equipped with cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality equipment. The equipment replicates exactly what healthcare workers of the future will find in the clinical environment. Â
And that means you will be fully prepared for the workplace at the end of your studies. The centre is used by all of Telford College’s health students. Â
This hands-on experience helps to build confidence and competence before entering work placements, or a wide range of full-time employment opportunities in the health and social care sector.Â
