This venepuncture course covers the theory and practical skills required to be able to take venous blood samples from adults and is suitable for anyone working within a healthcare environment who will undertake this skill as part of their role.

Theory and practical skills to take venous blood samples from adults.
Progression for healthcare practitioners in clinical roles
This course is suitable for Health Care Practitioners who will be performing venepuncture as part of their clinical role. The learner will need to be supported in their workplace to gain experience by a practitioner who is proficient in the skill and who will sign to confirm that the learner has gained competence in practice.
