Favour secured a place on a prestigious maths training programme at Cambridge University during her first year with us. She described it as an ‘amazing opportunity’ to tackle a range of maths challenges, and take part in group research projects and social activities led by current Cambridge students
Former Hadley Learning Community student Hewie is studying film-making after ‘smashing’ his A levels in media, criminology and photography. “I enjoyed expressing my creativity in media and photography; I particularly liked media as I got to understand the inner workings of the film and TV industry a lot more than I already did. Telford College has a great atmosphere. I got to make a lot of new friends.”
The former Codsall High School student is preparing for a career in science and is now reading biomedical science at Warwick University. “I haven’t decided whether I want to specialise in immunology or genetics, but my dream job is to work in a research lab, trying to find the next big breakthrough in curing diseases.”
Jack, who came to us from William Brookes School student in Much Wenlock, excelled in his maths, further maths and physics A levels. “I really liked my maths tutors at Telford College. They never shied away from challenging me and always gave me something a level higher to help me progress my knowledge. Eventually, I’d like to be a maths researcher.”
In our latest student survey, satisfaction levels were at an all-time high. We ran our largest ever A levels programme in 2024-25, with new courses added to the curriculum such as theatre studies and politics.
