Our award-winning Foundation Learning programme is tailor-made for students who require additional support to prepare for employment, or need help to develop independent living skills. They are for students who are supported by an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) and offer a mixture of relevant qualifications and non-qualification activity. Foundation learners get lots of opportunities for work experience placements within the college; a safe and familiar environment for them to develop their work-related skills. 
Course success rate
The ‘amazing work’ of our Foundation team has been recognised at the ‘Oscars’ of the teaching profession – the Pearson National Teaching Awards. Judges said the college was making a real difference to the lives of students.
